I’ve been meaning to write something, but it is such a challenge to focus on just one thing from the word of God, which really is life.
Since a few days, I’ve been particularly touched by the power that I feel as I read, and reread, the passage I share below.
And my prayer today is that you seek to read the word of God and gain a deeper understanding of his will and love for you.
Not only is reading a dying habit, but far too many Christians settle with not reading the word of God.
If you’re one of them, you have no idea what you’re missing!
The word of God is indeed life and gets more profound and powerful with time.
So here it goes in hopes that it inspires you to spend more time with God through the reading of his word.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
18“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. 19And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants”.
